Professional Qualifications

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP), registered with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario. I am also a proud member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Since 2000, I've been an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT), and have taught and worked as a Resource and Special Education Teacher at the Primary and Intermediate levels for almost 20 years.

I completed a Masters in Counselling Psychology (MACP) with Yorkville University and subsequently began training in the areas of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. I am certified in crisis intervention and trauma informed therapies as well as suicide intervention (ASIST).

I am especially proud of my work as a Registered Psychotherapist working in collaboration with an outstanding team of educational front line mental health clinicians and technicians.

A rich background in education combined with a passion for health and wellness has provided the opportunity for me to bring a wealth of valuable insights and a unique perspective to every conversation with students, parents, teachers and administrative leaders alike.
